About Bishop Plummer
Bishop Glenn R. Plummer is the first “Bishop of Israel” in the 2,000 year history of the Christian Church for any denomination. He officially represents 6.5 million members of the Church of God in Christ (COGIC) as the Bishop of Israel and resides in Jerusalem Israel with his wife Dr. Ruth Pauline Plummer.
Before becoming the Bishop, he was a pastor for 20 years, pastoring two churches in metropolitan Detroit.
Bishop Plummer has been in the television broadcasting industry for 44 years (since 1980) and has been integral to the success and furtherance of Christian Television in America. He is a former Chairman & CEO of the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB), the leading association of Christian communicators in the world.
He was instrumental in the creation of three national television networks (the Christian Television Network, The NRB Network, and The Impact Network) and he built five FCC Licensed television stations from Detroit to New Orleans. Currently he is the owner of WLPC-TV28 Detroit.
He currently holds a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.) degree from Destiny Christian University in Winter Haven Florida and was also awarded an honorary PH.D in Religious Leadership from ULS at the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Center in Atlanta Ga.
Bishop Plummer is also the recipient of The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from U.S. President Barak Obama.
He is married to author, national recording artist, and television personality, Dr. Ruth Pauline Plummer. He and his beautiful wife currently reside in Jerusalem, ISRAEL and are parents to a blended family of eight adult children and five beautiful grandchildren.

This Detroit television station came on the air in June 1991 and has consistently broadcast family and Christian content for over thirty (30) years. The station has created broadcast careers for scores of men and women and launched the Christian Television Network (CTN) and The Impact Network (Impact). Impact is currently seen in over 85 million homes in the USA. WLPC however, still faithfully broadcasts in the Detroit metropolitan market and is seen in 100 southeastern Michigan cities, reaching over 2.5 million Michiganders.
After 112 years the Church of God in Christ General Assembly ratified the creation of the new Jurisdiction in ISRAEL and the appointment of Bishop Glenn Plummer as the Establishmentarian and first Bishop of ISRAEL.
The Fellowship of Israel & Black America was established in 2006 and co-founded by Bishop Glenn Plummer and the late Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein. FIBA has several projects, all focused on building bridges between Black Americans and the State of Israel.
Headquartered in Jerusalem ISRAEL, WorldStage TV Network (WSTN) is a unique combination of Linear channels on an OTT Non-Linear platform. WSTN has a unique blend of various TV Networks and original big stage performance programming that target specific narrowcasted African American audiences based on the various partner network’s content.
